Buddhism says human have 108 worldly passions.

It is what came from our a priori 6 senses：―as visual, auditory, smell, taste, touch, and feeling. These 6 senses have 3 different situations like a pleasant, usual and unpleasant. The 6 senses have 3 situations it becomes 18 situations. And these 18 situations have 2 conditions, changing and stopping. 18 X 2 becomes 36. And now these 36 situations related with an idea of past, present and future, 36 X 3 finally we find the number of 108.

Though the meditation or some other training, if you could renounce those 108 worldly desires, you will reach a stage of "Buddha".

This is a puzzle machine which has 108 grid panels. You can easily and freely control the blink panels glimmer by switches. However it is both very difficult to make all panels turn on and off.
